While I was putting together ideas in my head and coming up with the ideal location for the
new couple photoshooting that I arranged with the lovely couple Karla and Luka, I received
an invitation and a proposition that should have taken this photoshoot to a higher level. In
other words, my friend Luka revealed to me that he wanted to make the best of a delightful
green oasis of the beautiful Sustipan peninsula near Split with a unique view of the sea, and
propose to his girlfriend Karla. This exceptional idea had to be cautiously planned so that
Karla would not suspect anything, and my role was not only to record that special moment
with the lens, but also to help in the realization of this romantic surprise.
During the day, everything went according to plan, and as our photo shoot approached to an
end, the sky was flooded with the magical colors of the sunset, which is possible only by the
seaside. While I was taking pictures of the mesmerized Karla observing the landscape and not
suspecting anything, Luka had already taken out the engagement ring we had hidden in my
equipment bag and knelt down behind her. Her excitement and his happiness cannot be
depicted; I guess that is why it is said a photo is worth a thousand words. As you can guess,
with a smile on her face and the wind in her hair, she said “YES”.
