Summer days in July are perfect for beautiful weddings. I photographed exactly one of these in Austria last year. I must emphasize first and foremost the newlyweds, not the location, take all the attention in this kind of photography, but when you have wonderful newlyweds and a magical location, and then the beauty of the photo is guaranteed.
Maria and Daniel decided to say their fateful “YES” in the beautiful Austrian town of Wels. In a festive atmosphere, surrounded by their loved ones, they said their vows in front of God in the Herz-Jesu-Kirche cathedral. I was quite thrilled to photograph them in the setting of Schloss Puchberg. I tried to “capture” at least a slight blend of this historical and natural beauty through the happiness of these newlyweds’ shared romantic moments.
The newlyweds drove to the party in the wedding salon in one of only eleven Rolls Royce cars manufactured in 1959, and the members of the popular Beatles also drove to their concert in London in that car. If I could add some musical background and words to their photos, then it would surely be “Words of love you whisper soft and true, darling, I love you.”
